KELLY R. GIRAUDO graduated from Mid-Continent University (Cum Laude) in 2005 and received her Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2009.  She began her career as an Associate in 2010 and became a Partner at Butler, Giraudo & Meister, P.C. in 2013.  The firm has offices in Morton and Peoria.  Kelly’s areas of practice include allocation of parental responsibilities, child relocation, adoptions, guardianships, Orders of Protection, and complex divorce issues, including asset division, child support, and spousal maintenance.  Kelly is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is serving her fifth year on the Women and the Law Committee.  She is also an Illinois Bar Foundation Silver Fellow and a member of the Board.  Kelly was an inaugural member of the ISBA Leadership Academy (2020).  She is a member of the Peoria County Bar Association and is an active member of the Family Law Committee, having previously served as Chair for two years. She is also a member of the Tazewell County Bar Association and served as President in 2014 and 2015.  Kelly is a member and past President of the Kiwanis Club of Pekin, a non-profit organization serving the children in her community.  She currently serves on the Kiwanis Board.  Kelly received the 2018 Women in Leadership Trailblazer Award from SIU School of Law.  She also participated in CASA’s “2019 CASAblanca Dancing with the Local Stars” fundraising event and was a judge for the event in 2021.  Kelly received the Pro Bono Award from the Tazewell County Bar Association in 2020.  She has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and a Leading Lawyer Emerging Lawyer in 2021 and 2022.  Kelly grew up in Paducah, Kentucky and now resides in Central Illinois. She and her husband have two sons. Kelly and her family enjoy outdoor activities, fitness and traveling.
