Wendy graduated in the top 1/4 of her class from the University of San Diego School of Law.

 

Wendy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Troy State University. She was in the 97th percentile for the preceding 5 years on the LSAT and graduated in the top 22% of her law school class. During law school Wendy received several awards and recognitions including, Best Appellate Brief Award, High Honors in legal writing and research, and was recipient of the C. Hugh Friedman Endowement Scholarship for outstanding performance and achievement in Corporate Law, as well as the Law Alumni Student of the Year Scholarship.

She was Secretary and then Treasurer of the Tax Law Society. Wendy was a Legal Research Specialist for the Lawyering Skills department. She served as a law clerk at the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. and was the principal draftsman for two opinions as well as assisting on numerous others.

With her Summa cum Laude in Business Management and extensive work experience Wendy has a strong business management and corporate law background. All of this is augmented with tax, contract, estate litigation, and labor law experience. She has especially enjoyed taking on all areas of family and elder law cases & issues, including but not limited to divorce, custody, child support, order modifications and enforcements, time share arrangements and property and asset divisions, paternity, guardianships, conservatorships and trust litigation. As a result of her passion for the personal aspects that family and elder law provide, she has chosen to focus her practice to only those two areas. As a result, Wendy is able to stay abreast of the latest developments in family and elder law and is able to be efficient and focused for her clients.

As a mother herself, Wendy understands the importance of balancing family life and the near and dear issues that are so often involved. She is empathetic to her client's family needs and therefore works to remain flexible to her client's schedule and available for their particular needs.
