Destiny McHughes is born and raised in the central Arkansas area. She attended University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In 2012, she decided to go law school because she wanted to be in a position to better help people with their legal problems. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Bowen School of Law in 2015. After passing the Arkansas Bar Exam in 2015, she opened her own law practice in 2016 and is the owner and managing member of Destiny Law Firm, PLLC, a personalized boutique firm that caters to a variety of legal needs. In 2017, while managing her firm, which is an active practice,  she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated in 2019 with a master's degree in Business Administration. 

She has a long-standing history of community outreach, and thoroughly enjoys helping fellow members of our community. She volunteers regularly and created and operated a mentor program at the local juvenile detention center from 2015-2020. It is important to her to be able to help others and to guide our youth toward a better path and better opportunities in life. Similarly, it's important to her to be able to guide my clients through what can be some of the most difficult times of their lives.
She has obtained certification as an Attorney ad Litem, which allows her to represent children in legal matter. She has enjoyed her ability to practice with focus on the best interest for children involved in litigation.  She has also obtained a certification to serve as a mediator.  She has found this enjoyable as it allows for more creativity and flexibility than cases ruled on by the Court.

She values professionalism and genuinely cares for her clients and their legal issues. Additionally, she is honored to have Josh E. McHughes and Rebecca J. Denison serve as of-counsel to the firm. Josh and Rebecca have over 75 years' combined experience in the practice of law.
