David Pierce Uffens is a highly organized and motivated lawyer, currently working at Best Law Firm in Phoenix, Arizona.

Previously, Mr. Uffens worked for a corporate litigation firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. His focus has been on all aspects of commercial and complex litigation, including contract, tort, bankruptcy, regulatory compliance, professional responsibility, and government relations litigation. Mr. Uffens is licensed to practice in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Washington, and Missouri. He is also a faculty associate at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he teaches Non-Professional (Amateur) Sports Law to Master of Legal Studies candidates in the Sports Law and Business program.

Mr. Uffens was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He attended the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where he graduated in two and a half years with High Distinction for his Pro Bono Service with Junior Law, Street Law, and several moot court organizations. While at the College of Law, Mr. Uffens served as an Articles Editor for the Jurimetrics Journal of Law, Science and Technology and as executive board leadership for several student-run organizations, including the Sun Devil Sports & Entertainment Law Students Association, Jewish Law Students Association, and Junior Law. His leadership and passion were also motivating factors in the development and implementation of the new sports law and business programs at ASU.

Since graduating law school, Mr. Uffens has focused on general civil, family, and class action civil litigation, managing the class certification of a nationwide class action involving the improper use of names, images, and likenesses of NCAA student-athletes. His experience includes litigation and transactional work related to corporate, real estate, privacy, intellectual property, sports and entertainment, emerging companies, personal injury, and mass tort claims. He has had tremendous success in the courtroom and has served the community outside of it as an advisory board member for the nonprofit Herberger Theatre Young Leadership Board, the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law Gold'N Gavel Auction Committee, and as advisory counsel for start-up companies. 

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Uffens spent two years as a multi-store Branch Manager at a national bank. While managing in Fountain Hills, Arizona, his branch ranked first in Arizona of 251 stores for combined sales and customer service in two consecutive quarters. He also has achieved a myriad of awards for sales, leadership and customer solutions and established Platinum Level of Excellence in sales and service consistently.

Mr. Uffens graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Master's in Communication Management in one year from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from USC Annenberg and a minor in Business Law from USC's Marshall School of Business in three years.

Mr. Uffens is an avid collegiate and professional sports fan, and loves to play in an occasional recreational basketball game. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Erica, and spending time with their two dogs.
